Gardens for Change

  • Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice (map)

The power to change the world is in your hands (or at least, your green thumb that is!), both literally & figuratively!
Gardens for Change will be planting the seeds of knowledge through fun activities with food, arts & crafts, & gardening of course too. Kids will learn & explore how good food, gardens & eco-friendly practices can help us form deeper connections with ourselves, each other, our community & our earth.
Come dig up & grow a greener brighter future with Gardens for Change at the BRCSJ featuring NJ teacher, sustainable food advocate, & urban gardener extraordinaire, Steph Salvador.
Four sessions, $30 each or $100 for all four*

*& of course, as with all our programming, this cost is on a sliding scale. All simply pay only what they can & no one will ever be turned away for lack of ability to do so).
