• Our Trans ENBY Justice Collective invites our transgender non-binary community members to rise up together to create trans enby community care in safe & brave spaces with committed action & advocacy. We center the experiences & leadership of trans enby people of color & transfemme folx to collectively embody trans justice through interpersonal connection, community support, & solidarity. Together we strive to create explicitly trans-normative space where we respect each other’s journeys with kindness & compassion. We work towards healing each other & ourselves as we continue to evolve individually & practice collective transformation.

• Our DEFENDERS OF THE RIGHT TO READ COMBATs CENSORSHIP & KEEPs FREE PEOPLE READIN' FREELY with a special focus on our queer community. ORGANIZED BY BRCSJ LIBRARIAN-IN-RESIDENCE MARTHA HICKSON IN CO-CONSPIRACY WITH ANDREA CAPORALE WILL now CONVENE ON A REGULAR BASIS in 2024 TO SUPPORT NJASL & OTHER INSPIRATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS DOIN’ THE GOOD WORK TO STIR UP MORE ANGELIC TROUBLE-MAKIN' TO HELP ALL OUR BEAUTIFULLY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES ACCESS THE BOOKS THEY NEED TO SEE THEMSELVES REPRESENTED IN SCHOOLS, IN PUBLIC LIBRARIES, & IN THE GREATER COMMUNITY.

• Our BRCSJ Racial Justice Task Force works to foster projects to eliminate racism by building toward an anti-racist community.  Currently two projects are ongoing.
  Racial Justice in Schools Dialogue engenders sharing among educators & education allies of resources & strategies to counter racism in school communities & build classroom & school policies & practices to foster antiracist understandings, attitudes & behavior.   Racism is a Public Health Crisis Project in collaboration with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton’s Racial Justice Ministry activates citizens in surrounding communities building antiracist understanding & bringing passage of municipal resolutions to counter racism particularly as it causes disparities in health that negatively impact People of Color.

• OUR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS BIRTH JUSTICE MATERNAL HEALTH PROGRAM CENTERS ON EDUCATING, SUPPORTING, & EMPOWERING WOMEN OF COLOR, QUEER & TRANSFOLX, LOW-INCOME WOMEN, DIFFERENTLY ABLED WOMEN, & IMMIGRANT WOMEN TO SAFELY NAVIGATE PREGNANCY, BIRTH & THE POSTPARTUM PROCESS.
  WHILST THIS INITIATIVE IS STILL GESTATING, WE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THIS PROGRAM FORWARD & INSPIRE FOLX FROM OUR BEAUTIFULLY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES TO JOIN US DIRECTLY AS again WE HERE AT THE CENTER NEVER WANT TO SPEAK FOR ANYONE BUT WITH EVERYONE & WE WANT TO OFFER THE SERVICES OUR FOLX NEED & DESERVE. please contact our Community Organizer & Queer educator SAra ~ brcsjqueered@gmail.com if you’d like to be of service in this pivotal program.
